Whether it is your first yoga class or the first time at this studio, welcome!

How to prepare

• Arrive at least 15 minutes before class to sign in, change, meet the teacher, and get settled. Changing booths are available at the studio.

• Arrive adequately hydrated, especially for Bikram & Vinyasa.

• Avoid big meals within three hours of class.

• Bring a yoga mat, towel and water bottle, or rent/buy one from us.

• Wear light clothing for Bikram: shorts, bathing trunks, athletic tops. For Yin or Vinyasa wear comfortable pants. After a few classes you’ll discover what works for you.

• Bring a friend. It can be fun and helpful to have a yoga buddy! The hardest part of your practice is arriving at the studio.

After class

• The studio has a single shower available for quick rinses after class. Bring your own towel.

• Stay hydrated throughout the day! Yoga initiates the cleansing of toxins from the body, and proper hydration helps to continue this process after class.

How often should I practice?

• Practice is the work at hand. In yoga tradition daily practice is recommended. A regular practice of three times a week is desirable.
